CHALLENGE

The historic H.D. Hudson Manufacturing Company Factory building was in the middle of its rehabilitation into a boutique hotel, event venue, restaurant, and seasonal housing project when the Covid-19 pandemic hit, causing disruption and delay to the project schedule. A Part 1, Part 2, revised Part 2, and two amendments to the revised Part 2 of the historic tax credit application had been approved by the National Park Service (NPS) when New History was retained in 2022 to continue and complete the historic tax credit certification for the project.

SUCCESS

New History completed a revised amendment and two additional amendments to the Part 2 as well as the Part 3 of the historic tax credit certification. Despite conditional approval on the Part 2, the Part 3 was approved by the National Park Service (NPS).
